Sarah Crockett is a coach, teaching, speaker, mentor, trainer, and atmosphere shifter. She specializes in bringing encouragement, motivation, and inspiration using simple, practical, and creative strategies that equip and empower others to discover and tap into the gold within.
Sarah has spent over a decade working in higher education. She initiated the concept of “Go Week” at Florida State University where multiple student organizations join together to serve incoming students the week before school starts each fall. Sarah has also spent over a decade in college ministry teaching and mentoring students, empowering them to know who they are and equipping them to impact society in a meaningful way. Sarah enjoys “finding the gold” in others while encouraging and equipping them to “change the world”.
From 2011 to 2014, Sarah served as the Program Coordinator for the Connect2Complete grant initiative sponsored National Campus Compact and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. She was invited to present at the Community College National Center for Community Engagement International Conference each year. The Connect2Complete program also won a statewide award, Florida Campus Compact’s Student Affairs Partnering With Academic Affairs award, each of those three years. Sarah has traveled nationally and internationally speaking and teaching across the globe. Most notably to Russia, Finland, the Caribbean, and several locations throughout the country of Mexico.
Sarah’s passion to empower others to be their best selves and is why she created beENCOUNTERed! Sarah had a personal encounter with Jesus while watching the sunrise over the mountains of North Carolina at the age of 14 and another at age 16. These two encounters transformed her life. She enjoys creatively activating others to have their own personal encounters that allow them to discover who they are and how they can enjoyably contribute to society and the world. One moment can change everything!
Sarah is currently working on publishing her first book! She enjoys quality time with family and friends, laughing, a good cup of dark roast coffee, spending time in the mountains, traveling, and her closest furry friend Hammy P. Cat!
