Come Up Higher

Come Up Higher

What does that mean?

To me, coming up higher means letting myself become more of myself.  It means going after that next goal or dream that has felt just a little too big.  It means taking more risk than I’ve taken before…risk in the sense that I’m risking more of myself, my heart, my emotions, my efforts, to truly go after something that is important to my heart.

What does that mean to YOU?

I can’t tell you what that means for you.  Only we can define what coming up higher means for us.  What might seem like a huge step for one might be too small for another.  It’s just like asking what’s the “worst” thing that ever happened to someone.  The worst thing for me might be nothing compared to the “worst” thing for you.  BUT that’s just it….we can’t compare ourselves to others! I give you permission to  STOP comparing yourself right now! Think about it…if the “worst” thing that happened to me was that I stubbed my toe and the “worst” thing that happened to you was you got the flu…both of those things were still the “worst” thing ever for each person…and maybe, just maybe we actually can relate because we both know what it feels like to feel the “worst” in life.  Right?!

So…

What would it look like for you to come up higher?  Remove the comparison.  What’s your next step?  What does “higher” look like for you?

Whatever it is, I want you to know that IT IS POSSIBLE for you! If it’s in your heart there is a reason. Explore that reason.  Ponder the possibilities. Notice I said the possibilities, not the HOW.  Your dream will die a slow death if you focus on HOW you can make it happen. Let go of that and just imagine the possibilities!

I believe in YOU!
